I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion, and found that I could no longer print to my HP CM1312nfi. This is usually a problem with HP at every upgrade, but this time, they appear to have offloaded the driver download process to Apple. My printer is connected wirelessly through a time capsule by IP address—the physical, not the virtual, e.g: 169.254.xx.xx instead of 10.0.1.x. When I try to download the driver by bonjour or IP, I get the following error message: Can't install the software for the Hewlett-Packard HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP because it is not currently available from the Software Update server. Is this truly a Software Update server error, and if so, any clue when it will be resolved?

I am able to print with the generic driver as of now, but fax and scan capabilites are gone. The add fax dialog lists no devices. With the Hewlett Packard Print 2.12 driver. Will support be forthcoming, or did Mountain Lion brick my scanner?
