Do you have both the Intel and NVidia in your system, if so Intel drivers need to be installed first, I had the same problem when Windows update tried to install NVidia drivers first, that's the bad thing about locking us out of the options menu in Windows Update, I prefer to get drivers manually that way I can insure they are installed in the correct order.on some machines it will make a difference.I finally just wiped my hard drive with the OS clean and did a re-install. After I downloaded both drivers so I could install them manually.

Hello, I did update the Intel drivers, restarted the PC: everything is OK. Then I installed the nVidia drivers: the PC has started, I see that the definition has changed, but. Everything crashes as before. Fortunately, I was able to restart in safe mode and remove the nVidia drivers. Everything works like at the beginning, with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800. While I write this post, the nVidia Driver is reinstalled, and Windows asks me to reboot to apply the changes. I try again, and if that doesn't work, I stop.
